Frequently asked questions

What is Spicewale?

Spicewale is a natural foods brand from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. We source raw spices, seeds, nuts, oils, and ghee directly from primary markets, clean and grade everything in-house at our facility in Mandore Mandi, and sell directly to you. No middlemen, no adulteration, no unnecessary processing.

What does "cleaned in-house" actually mean?

Most brands buy finished products and repack them. Spicewale buys raw — then runs every product through our own cleaning process. Stones removed, dust separated, broken pieces rejected, product graded by us. When we say stone-free, we cleaned it ourselves. When we say Double Sorted, we ran it through twice.

Are your products organic?

Our products are natural and minimally processed — no additives, no preservatives, no artificial anything. We do not currently hold a government organic certification and we will only claim organic when we have the certification to prove it. What we do have: FSSAI License, GMP Certification, and HACCP Certification — all independently assessed.

What certifications does Spicewale hold?

FSSAI State License No. 12225032000542 (valid till June 2027), GMP Certificate No. UQ-2036111A9 (valid till June 2029), HACCP Certificate No. UQ-2036111A10 under ISO 22000:2022 (valid till June 2029), GST No. 08ESNPP0758P2ZP, Udyam MSME No. UDYAM-RJ-22-0171099, and Trademark Applied TM No. 7107069.

Why is Spicewale cheaper than Two Brothers or Anveshan?

We are physically based inside Jodhpur's Mandore Mandi — direct access to primary market prices with no middleman markup. No investor funding, no celebrity campaigns built into the price. You pay for the product and the process. Nothing else.

What is the difference between Spicewale and kirana or supermarket products?

Kirana and supermarket products in spices, oils, and dry fruits are almost entirely commodity grade — no sourcing transparency, no cleaning guarantee, no accountability. Spicewale sources specific grades — Jeera Star, Cashew W320, Mamra Badam — cleans in-house, and puts a name and address on every pack.

Do you add anything to your products?

No. Nothing. No preservatives, no artificial colour, no flavour enhancers, no grade blending. The ingredient list on every Spicewale product has one item — the product itself.

How is quality consistent batch to batch?

We control the cleaning and grading ourselves — not a distributor. Our GMP and HACCP certifications require documented quality systems independently audited every year. Consistency is a certified process, not a promise.

What is your sourcing story?

Spicewale is built by Koshal Purohit, operating from Shop No. 91, Shriram Nagar Market, Mandore Mandi, Jodhpur. Being inside the mandi gives us direct visibility of raw material quality at the primary market level. We see what arrives, examine before buying, and reject what does not meet our standard.

Can I trust the health claims on your products?

Spicewale does not make pharmaceutical claims. We accurately describe the nutritional composition and traditional uses of natural foods. Chia seeds are genuinely high in omega-3. Bilona A2 Ghee genuinely contains butyric acid. Mamra Badam genuinely has higher oil content than California almonds. Factual, evidence-based statements — not miracle cure claims.

Do you offer wholesale or bulk orders?

Yes. For wholesale enquiries please use the Wholesale Enquiry form on our website or contact us directly. Pricing and minimum quantities are discussed based on your requirement.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns for damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered products within 48 hours of receiving your order. Send us photographs and we arrange a replacement or full refund. If any Spicewale product does not match what we have described — contact us. We will make it right.
